History and Background

The Ivy P3 Group, formed in late 2018, has quickly ascended to a prominent position in the development and project coordination of public-private partnership (“P3”) structured and funded real estate-related projects. The combination of strategic skills exhibited by the operation, management and development expertise of Mr. Colombo combined with the structuring and funding of Mr. Garcia uniquely qualify the Ivy P3 Group for long-term success in this market segment. Combined, our team has completed over $1.75 billion in public/private developments over the past 20 years.
 
Mr. Colombo, a 40-year veteran of the hospitality industries, whose experience included executive positions at world-renowned hotels such as The Plaza Hotel (NYC), The St. Regis (NYC), The Grand Hyatt (NYC), the Hyatt Regency (Chicago) and the Fairmont Hotel (San Francisco), will utilize this.
 
Mr. Garcia, through his stops at several Wall Street investment banks during his
career, brings a unique background to assist with the development and financial viability of a hospitality project. His work with several sectors and asset classes
during his career has provided him with a deep understanding of the intricacies and
hurdles facing certain projects and how to respond accordingly. Mr. Garcia provides
a high level of financial modeling and structuring paramount to the success, both
upfront and ongoing, of the Ivy P3 Group.
 
In a very short time, the Ivy P3 Group has developed a portfolio of high-profile
projects in the upcoming future.

A 40-year hospitality veteran, Robert P. Colombo has built a distinguished career in the luxury hotel and restaurant industry. Having worked with both large corporate hotel brands and boutique and independent properties in major metropolitan areas throughout the U.S., he has earned a reputation as a visionary hotelier, developer and entrepreneur.

As a Dallas resident and prominent leader in its  business community, Colombo oversaw the development of two premier boutique hotels, The Joule and  the Lumen Hotels, and in doing so created the city’s  first 4-Star Mexican restaurant with Trece, first organic Italian restaurant with Villa O, and one of its first craft cocktail restaurants with The Standard Pour.

Mr. Garcia has more than 19 years of experience in financial services specializing in Public-Private Partnerships and Project Financings. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Stephens. Prior to joining Stephens, Mr. Garcia held positions at Citigroup, RBC Capital Markets, Piper Jaffray, Oppenheimer and Aegis. Mr. Garcia has been involved in structuring more than 300 financings for more than $10 Billion in par amount for municipal issuers.

Brian’s expertise is working with both public and private entities to help best utilize and finance special tax or revenue-based debt financings for Public-Private Partnerships (“P3”) through generic municipal issuers as well as special tax and economic development districts like Tax Increment Financings, Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones, Local Government Corporations, Public Facility Corporations, 501(c)3 non-profits and other public borrowers.
